LATSIS Symposium 2012
plaats: Lausanne, Switserland
The 1st European Symposium on Quantitative Methods in Transportation Systems will be held in Lausanne from September 4 to 8, 2012. The Symposium will be organized by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
This Symposium is an interdisciplinary intermediate-size research conference on transportation research in general, and quantitative methods for transportation systems in particular. The Symposium will bring together major experts and most promising young researchers in the fields of Transportation Modeling, Operations Research, Economics, Physics, Logistics in a setting highly suitable for scientific discussion and active interaction in relatively small groups. The scope of the symposium includes all aspects of quantitative methods for analysis and design of transportation systems. To present a paper at this event, an extended abstract (1000 words) should be submitted electronically (word or pdf format) to the organizers through the website (http://latsis2012.epfl.ch/) by 15 March 2012.
