Tuition and other costs
Tuition
Tuition is established by law and reviewed annually. You can find information about tuition on the website of TU Delft's Central Student Administration. (opens new window)
Text books
Depending on your field of study, you may spend between € 250 and € 750 on books. Because the University is able to buy books centrally, you can often get a reduction on books purchased via student organisations. Many books can also be borrowed from the university library or the libraries of the separate faculties. In addition to books, you are also required to purchase a number of course notes and manuals, but these are considerably less expensive.
Computer and software
TU Delft offers you an extensive package of hardware, software and internet access. All student accommodations are connected to the university network. Furthermore, there is a special internet provider run by and on behalf of students, you can purchase a laptop at a reduced price, and you can download a broad selection of software for free.
