Scholarships
Most scholarships require you to have been admitted by the university before starting your scholarship application. To get proof of admission in time, TU Delft should receive your complete hard copy application before 1 November of the preceding academic year.
TU Delft Excellence Scholarships for all MSc programmes
TU Delft offers an array of scholarships, ranging from (partial) tuition waivers to full scholarships covering tuition and living expenses. Some MSc programme-specific scholarships may only be announced on their respective websites.
TU Delft Excellences Scholarships are awarded to admitted students with exceptional promise and outstanding academic achievement. There is typically no separate application procedure. Selected scholarship recipients will be notified directly by the university.
DRI Scholarships
Description | Scholarships linked to the to the Delft Research Initiatives of Energy, Environment, Health and Infrastructures & Mobility. |
Eligibility | Excellent applicants admitted to one of TU Delft’s MSc programmes showing an interest in and background related to one of the four research domains. |
Value of scholarship | Full scholarships and the opportunity to participate in innovative research challenges and to connect to our networks in the fields of research |
Number of scholarships | 16 |
How to apply | All excellent students who are admitted to one of the MSc programmes of TU Delft and showing an interest in and background related to one of the four research domains will be considered. There is no separate application procedure for scholarship consideration. Recipients will be contacted directly |

Justus & Louise Van Effen scholarships
Description | Scholarships financed by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr van Effen studied at TU Delft in the 1940s and strongly believed technological developments contribute to solving todays issues. The Foundation Justus & Louise van Effen was established with the aim of financially supporting excellent international MSc students wishing to study at TU Delft. |
