TIL Seminars

TIL seminars are the arena of the MSc TIL community, organised for and by MSc TIL students.

The TIL seminars are the lifeline of the MSc TIL programme and are highly appreciated amongst students. Every other week (although the frequency depends on the period in the year) a broad range of topics will be discussed by means of invited speakers, excursions to interesting places and projects (e.g. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol or Port of Rotterdam), project and theme discussions, site and/or company visits, etc. Students are required to participate actively in the organised seminars. These seminars are organised by students themselves. They are required to attend 12 of these seminars (check Blackboard or the study guide for up-to-date regulations) during the first three semesters study and they are required to organise one of these seminars themselves (under the guidance of a lecturer). This means that all MSc TIL students play an active part by attending and organising seminars.
