International opportunities
During the third semester of the SEPAM programme, students have the opportunity to study abroad or conduct an internship within an international setting. Students may also choose to complete their 6-month Master's thesis abroad; in the past, some have worked in countries as diverse as Egypt, South Africa, Korea, China, and the USA. About 40% of the SEPAM students choose to have a study-abroad experience.
Exchange
The Faculty of TPM has many bilateral exchange programmes with other universities; each year a number of SEPAM students participate, for instance, in any of the following programmes:
- An exchange with Harbin Institute of Technology (China) providing you with the opportunity to follow a predefined set of courses as part of your free electives.
- An exchange programme with the Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, in the context of TU Delft's participation in the Shell Project Academy (SPA) *)
- A strategic partnership with Keio University in Tokyo, Japan, involving an exchange of Master's students between SEPAM and Keio University's Systems Design Department. *)
To see the full list of partner universities abroad please go to www.studyabroad.tbm.tudelft.nl
*) The number of places at each partner university is limited. A yearly selection procedure is involved.
In addition to international student exchanges for one semester, students may choose to spend one week in another European university in the ATHENS programme.
