Career prospects

Independent of booms or busts in the economy, graduates are able to land a job in the maritime industry. The many fields include heavy cargo transport and salvage firms, engineering companies, shipyards, research institutes, off shore industry, shipping companies, banks and classification societies both within the Netherlands and abroad.

Numerous graduates have accepted positions with the Royal Dutch Navy, and many others continue on at TU Delft with studies leading to a PhD.
