Protocols

The TUD makes use of the SEP protocol. The Standard Evaluation Protocol 2003-2009 is a co-production of the VSNU, NWO and KNAW. Since July 2009 one has to use the revised SEP protocol 2009-2015.  
Within the outlines of the SEP protocol, the three dutch Technical Universities (3TU.federation) defined a 3TU.protocol. This protocol has been changed at the end of 2010 based on the new version of the SEP. In Januari 2011 the revised 3TU.protocol has been formalised by the Board of 3TU.Research. The revised 3TU.protocol inclused a new timeschedule.

In addition to the protocol two scripts are written. There is a script for a midterm review and a script for the external assessment. Unfortunatly these scripts are only available in dutch.

The report of the KNAW, Quality assessment in the design and engineering disciplines - a systematic framework published at the end of 2010, is one of the reasons the protocol needed to be actualised.
