Smart measuring with rubber ducks and floats

Pupils from Year 8 of the Openbare Montessorischool Jan Vermeer will be helping TU Delft to chart the flow of water through the city’s canals. On the morning of Monday 21 May they will hold a rubber duck race as a warming-up exercise, and then they will help to track 1,100 floats – which have been fitted with special tags – as they float through the canals of Delft, to see exactly where they go...
