Partnership with SME
Developing or improving products or processes can be a time-consuming and capital-intensive activity. Many small to medium-sized businesses have already teamed up with TU Delft to develop innovative solutions for their organisation. TU Delft offers the SME sector a wide range of partnership opportunities. The duration and form can be tailored to meet the organisation’s research needs and wants.
Contract research
Contract research is a good way of outsourcing high-grade innovative research. Contract research at TU Delft
SME industry-specific initiatives
Greenhouse horticulture: Greenport Campus
In order to stimulate innovation in the Dutch greenhouse horticultural sector, the Greenport Campus has been set up for technical suppliers of the horticultural sector and their customers (growers). With the support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Province of Zuid-Holland, the horticultural cluster can work together with TU Delft, Kennisalliantie Zuid-Holland, TNO, Demokwekerij, Wageningen UR Glastuinbouw and INHolland University of Applied Sciences.
Life Sciences, Medical Technology and Healthcare: Business 2 Science Portal
The Business 2 Science Portal (B2SP) brings together businesses and knowledge institutions in the Life Sciences, Medical Technology and Healthcare sectors. The portal makes the expertise of knowledge institutions accessible by matching entrepreneurial needs with the right expert. The B2SP is an initiative of TU Delft, Leiden University, Leiden University Medical Centre, Erasmus Medical Centre Rotterdam, TNO Prevention and ‘Zorg Leiden’.
