VertiGO

We know sportive motorcycles as very fast vehicles. Until now the idea people have about electric powered motorcycles is that these behave stupid, slow and clumsy. The opposite is true! VertiGO is the first super sport motorcycle powered by an electric engine.

The VertiGO has an estimated top speed of 250 km/h, and will be developed to beat most current motorcycles; due to its aggressive acceleration. That is because the motorcycle does not need to reach a high number of revolutions first, in order to have a maximum torque. Therefore VertiGO gets to its top speed quicker than other sportive motorcycles. Visually the new super sport motorcycle looks more aerodynamic, because of the technical components are enclosed in the design.

This tough image of VertiGO will stimulate the market for electric powered vehicles in general, and the market for super sport motorcycles in particular. The circuit racing market will be the introduction market and can be regarded as the nursery room for the development of all electrical engines. Innovations here will occur faster compared to the car industry. The next innovation researchers are working on will be the battery pack, so it can quickly be replaced during a pit stop. The design of VertiGO can also easily be translated to the broader consumer motorcycle industry.
