Roadmap 2020

TU Delft is seeking to clearly position itself in an environment where the competition for people and resources is becoming ever stiffer. In the long term, too, it is vital to measure up favourably with respect to other universities.

In order to remain focused and to nurture a shared sense of purpose, the Executive Board intends, in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders, to develop a broad-based vision in the next six months that will lead to a Strategic Roadmap TU Delft 2020. It will state in outline where TU Delft aims to be by the end of the decade and how it intends to get there. This will take place in the context of the dynamic playing field on which our university currently finds itself, and will also need to take into account the many internal and external stakeholders of TU Delft.  

The Executive Board has decided to organise a series of meetings in the spring and autumn of 2011 for the purpose of holding discussions about its ambitions with a range of interested parties. This site will keep you up to date regarding the developments in relation to the Roadmap 2020. An outline description has been written in order to provide substantive input for the discussion phase.
