Supervisory Board

The Executive Board is accountable to the Supervisory Board, which is appointed by the Minister of Education, Culture and Science. The Supervisory Board has a number of specific, statutory tasks, such as the approval of governing and management regulations, the Institutional Plan, the selection of participation systems and the university's budgets and annual reports.

The members of the Supervisory Board are:

• Ir. G-J. Kramer (former chairman of Excecutive Board FUGRO N.V.)
• Ir. M.L.L. van Vroonhoven (Member of the Executive Board of Nederlandse Spoorwegen N.V.)
• Drs. K.M.H. Peijs, (Royal Commissioner of the Province of Zeeland)
• Prof.dr. D.D. Breimer (former president of Leiden University and former president of the University Board of Leiden University)
• Drs. J.C.M. Schönfeld (former vice-chairman, Stork N.V.)
